MWVHSC FAMILY

PENNY NOYES
Broadway Joe 1974

As mentioned before, many of our exhibitors from the
first years of the MWVHSC (1982) went on with their
lives and have recently returned to the showring.  One
of these special people is Penny Noyes.

In fact, Penny is probably the singlemost person out
there with exception of family, that this writer has
known since pre- kindergarden days.  My very first
pony was purchased from Penny's Dad, Stubby Noyes
in 1952.

Penny grew up with us at the Lancaster Fair.  Her Dad
was also the course designer for the hunters, back
when the hunter/jumpers had their own barns, their
own ring, hunt course, Steward, Judge, Announcer and
Secretary's Booth.  The Lancaster Fair "family" was, at
the time, very large.

Through the years Penny competed on Quarter N
Ranch horses.  Her Broadway Joe was a familiar sight
at the Fair.  Most recently, Penny is showing her Pinto,
Ariel's Rowdy Fan.  Penny and "Franny" returned to the
show ring this year in grand style, winning numerous
Year End Awards.

Penny is looking forward to driving Franny in the
Pleasure Driving classes, competing in the Mini/Pony
Halter Classes, Costume, and In Hand Trail.

The MWVHSC would like to welcome Penny back to the
ring and we wish to honor her years of loyalty to the
horse community and her friendship over the last 50+
years.
