MWVHSC FAMILY STARS
Dana, Sharon and Summer
Robinson
Summer, have competed at the MWVHSC shows for
several years. Dana and Sharon not only travel with
Summer and her terrific Pinto gelding, Rock's Prince
Charming, they also get into the action.
Dana shows his two young Morgans, JMF Irish
Sweepstakes and JMF Black Phantom in hand.
Sharon competes on her Morgan gelding, On Stage
Christmas Miracle in the hunter classes. This big,
friendly gelding was born on Christmas morning 4 years
ago and was a total surprise. Upon purchase of his
dam, the Robinson's were told that she "might" be in
foal, but no dates were given. Can you imagine going
out to do chores and there stands a brand new foal; and
on Christmas morning to boot!
To say that the family is willing to help others is an
understatement. This past season, Summer graciously
offered to help Miss Mercedes Belanger by allowing
her to compete in Novice Rider classes on Prince, while
Summer worked with Mercedes' Morgan mare, Fair Hill
Hello Dolly.
Summer and Prince took home their share of the season
Championships and Reserves in Saddleseat Equitation,
Saddleseat Pleasure & Colorbreed Pleasure.
While the women are riding, Dana is always happy to
help out in any task asked of him. He is also a joker at
heart. It seems that he was the ringleader behind the
mysterious disappearance of a certain white tailed deer.
The Robinsons are a poster family for the MWVHSC and
we are very happy to call them MWVHSC Family Stars.
