The Osgood Family from Colebrook, NH have supported the MWVHSC since it's origin.
Fred, Wanita, Samantha and Cassie have competed with their family owned horses in various divisions, from Saddlebreds and Morgans to Paints and Quarter Horses.
Fred is a pillar of support. He often makes three or four trips from home to the Fairgrounds to get all the horses, camper, tack and kids there on time. Then he often faces a work day before trucking everything back to Colebrook.
Wanita took up riding in the ring several years ago. She was a daring lady, taking on her daughters Pinto Saddlebred and Paint geldings. Wanita's sense of humor and patriotism shows in her beautiful costume class entries. Their tack room displays are always a crowd pleaser.
Daughter Samantha competes with her self-trained Paint gelding. Recently, the colorful gelding saw Leadline and Walk Trot classes added to his list of successes.
Daughter Cassie rode the family Saddlebreds, This past season she rode her Mom's Quarter Horse in Hunt and Stockseat classes.
The family has had their share of illness and bad luck just as many others have, but they've always made it to the shows, always help anyone out and always, always have a smile for everyone.
The MWVHSC wishes to say Thank You and honor the Osgood as our MWVHSC FAMILY STARS
