Ramona Chessman

Several of our exhibitors are also experienced in putting on horse shows in different venues.  Ramona Chessman is one of those people.  Ramona has been an avid supporter, club leader and member of the NH 4-H organization for many years.  She runs the annual Coos Country 4-H Qualifying show which is held in June.   She is also a team leader for the qualified riders who attend the State 4-H Horse Show held in Deerfield each July.   She is a team leader for the annual 4-H Coos and Essex County 4-H show that is held annually at the Lancaster Fair.  As a Director for the Lancaster Fair Assn.,  she is responsible for the very popular Show Draft Horse Show which is also held during the Lancaster Fair over Labor Day. Ramona takes time out from her busy schedule to successfully show her hunter gelding, Midnight, in Halter, Showmanship, Equitation and Pleasure Classes.   Another of her favorite classes is the Show Draft Pleasure class which is part of the Lancaster Fair's Class AA show.  Ramona also has several American Spotted Drafts which she shows on occasion. Ramona has also formed a mounted Drill Team which perform at the Fair.   One busy lady! Ramona has supplied us with the 4-H's PA system for our first three shows each summer... a necessary item that we appreciate the use of very much.   We would like to thank and honor Ramona's friendship and help over the years by awarding her a MWVHSC Family star.
