MWVHSC FAMILY STAR

Peggy Desautels
Over the years, the MWVHSC has had a great compliment of adult exhibitors.  Some got into the
showing aspect via their children's interest: for others, it's a life long dream.

Peggy has had horses most of her adult life, but it is now that she is really realizing her dream.  Her
Palomino QH mare, CO Mousy Lady (aka Primrose) was shown as well as her black and white Paint
mare, Easy Eyed Lady (aka Easy).  The "show bug" took over and Peg added two Miniature geldings,
Flying Sparrow Top Banana (aka Cocoa) and Midnight's Echo of Mickey (aka Echo) to her 'show' string.

In 2005, Primrose foaled a gorgeous Palomino/white Paint colt, Cruzer and in 2006 Primrose
presented Peg with a full sister, Twist N Pretty (aka Peggy Sioux).  Sandy Blumenfeld's champion
Paint stallion, First Class Twist is the sire of both youngsters.

Cruzer went into training with Sandy and was highly successful in Yearling Lunge Line and In Hand
Trail in 2006.  He is currently under saddle and has just recently won several classes in his debut
under saddle.  Peggy Sioux was shown in halter and showmanship by Peggy and this writer at the
MWVHSC series in 2007.

Peg's most recent acquisition is another Miniature gelding, purchased for driving.  Chester is also a
pinto.

Peg is a member of the American Paint Horse Association and her Paints have won PAC (open
competition against all breeds) points at MWVHSC shows.

Peggy is one of our valued exhibitors who uses the MWVHSC shows to learn and enjoy the low key
showring experience.  We wish Peg all the luck in the world and welcome her to our MWVHSC family.
