MWVHSC Family Stars

Sue and Ted Douglas
Where does one begin to describe two of our oldest and dearest
friends, Sue and Ted Douglas.  To say that we go "back" would be an
understatement.  We cannot remember horse shows without them
being there.   In the early years Sue competed on her Saddlebreds all
across New England.  In the 80s, she and Ted opened a Saddlebred
training farm in Belmont and horses and riders often passed between
the two farms.

Sue has been judging MWVHSC, WMRC and 4-H shows for the North
Country for many years.  Recently she and Ted have opened their tack
shop, The Trainer's Loft and Ted's photography business,  A Classic
Expression.

The Trainer's Loft carries tack, attire and equipment for all disciplines;
saddle seat, hunter seat, stock seat, dressage, driving, stable and gifts.
The Trainer's Loft is also on grounds during the Lancaster Fair and
Sue will bring specialty items if you call her in advance.

Ted has done the photos for the MWVHSC and graciously allows us the
use of them on our website.  Ted's photos have graced magazines,
living rooms, tack rooms and show displays across the country.  Ted
will also do farm shoots.

It is with great happiness that we celebrate our long time friendship with
Sue and Ted by awarding them a MWVHSC Family Star.
