Kristine Skilling
horse world. Kristine, being a life time
friend of Sherrel's, boarded and rode her
grey Saddlebred gelding, The Colonel,
out of Pine Glen Stable when it was still
located at the famous Glen House
at the base of the Mt. Washington Auto
Road.
The girls spent many hours riding the
trails, swimming the rivers and being
hotel brats in general.
Kristine married and took a whole lot
of years off raising her four children,
Jennifer, Jody, John and Janet; all
now grown with children of their own.
Kristine's love of horses has brought
her back to her old friend and in so
doing has offered to be our
Ringmaster for the 2006 season.
The MWVHSC and me, personally,
would like to give a big thank YOU
to Kris and recognize her as a
MWVHSC FAMILY STAR.
