Class Specifications
ENTRY FORMS
Please read the show rules and specifications and classlist carefully.
1.        Use a separate form for each show .   Please do not enter all four shows at the beginning of the season as done
in the past.   It creates a problem for the booth as exhibitors change classes during the year.  (see the Note
           below)
2.        Use a separate form per horse/pony per show.
3.        Be sure you are eligible for the classes you are entering.
4.        Enter the regular, equitation and championship classes in numerical order.
5.        Use one box per class.  If you are entering class 12, do not put the 1 in a box and the 2 in another.
6.        Print Clearly!
7.        Double check your input information.
Make yourself a copy for reference.  Please: Do not ask
the secretaries at the booth for a list of the classes you have entered.
8.
NEW! A signed blank check or money order must accompany your entry forms.  Send no cash.
Check returned for insufficient funds will be charged $30.00 + bank fees.
9.        A parent, guardian or other adult responsible for minor rider must sign form.
10.      Entries must be
RECEIVED BY THE POST ENTRY DATE OR POST ENTRY FEE WILL APPLY.
11.      ADD and SCRATCH sheets will be available at the booth.  The same adult signatures apply.  There is
no post entry fee charged for added classes, providing the horse/rider has pre-entered the majority of
their classes by the Post Entry date.
     (
Please do not pre-enter one class and then ADD 10 more on show day.  This creates a serious time frame problem.
Shows need to start on time.)   ADDs must be made a minimum of two classes prior to the class in the ring.)
12.      Refunds on scratched classes will be honored at the discretion of the booth.  Read below.

Post Entries for the September 4th show will close on Thursday evening, September 3rd!!!

NOTE:  Exhibitors who enter the ring and compete in a class that they are not pre-entered into, will pay a double entry
fee for that class
.  Knowing what classes you are pre-entered into is your responsibility.  The same applies to those
who do not appear in a class they are entered in and the booth has no signed Scratch Sheet for that class; the double
entry fee will still apply.  Add and Scratch sheets must be signed by an adult.  These situations were very commen in
2006, remained a problem in 2007; and will not be tolerated in 2008. This makes additional, unnecessary work for the
Secretary, Announcer, Ringmaster and Judge, not to mention the problem keeping the point tallies accurate and the
show on time.
Note:   The MWVHSC offers a "one-time" canter class to our Walk Trot participants.  In other words, if you are a Walk Trotter and
wish to try a canter or lope class,
you must let the office know in advance.  You will not be penalized to return to the Walk Trot
classes provided this is a
one time occurance.
If the office is
not notified and you enter a canter class, you will not be allowed back into a Walk Trot class.
There has been some confusion regarding exhibitors who used this option.  We have had questions about exhibitors cantering and
then returning to the Walk Trot ranks.   This should explain why.
The same offer applies to horses entering the Schooling/Green class.  They have the option of entering one canter/lope class
without penalty but the office needs to know in advance.
